Chocolate Cherry Cake

1 pkg Dark Chocolate cake mix

2 eggs

1 tsp. almond extract

1 can cherry pie filling

 

 



Mix all ingredients by hand until blended well. Pour into a 9 X 13 greased dish. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until done.

Chocolate Fudge Icing:

1 cup sugar

5 Tab. butter

1/3 cup milk

6 oz pkg chocolate chips

Boil sugar, butter, and milk for 1 minute. Remove and stir in chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Pour immediately over warm cake so it forms a fudge frosting. Sprinkle with finely chopped pecans if desired. Cool before cutting.
