1 oz. Dove Chocolate Martini Mix
2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
2 oz. White Creme de Cacao
2 oz. Praline New Orleans Style Pecan Liqueur
Dark Cocoa Powder
Caramel Sauce (in a squeeze bottle with a very small tip)
Roasted pecan halves (for garnish if desired)
Shaved chocolate (for garnish if desired)
For the rim of the Turtle martini, take a large martini glass and carefully coat the rim in
caramel sauce from the squeeze bottle, being careful not to let it drip too far down the sides. Then, dip the
entire rim of the glass into the sweetened cocoa powder. Be sure to coat all of the caramel. The desired effect is
a chocolate dusted caramel rim.
For the drink part of the Turtle martini, shake the vodka, creme de cacao and praline liqueur in a
martini shaker with crushed or shaved ice to chill. Strain the drink into the martini glass until nearly full,
being careful not to touch the rim.

My friend Terry makes this Chocolate Turtle Martini better than anyone I know! She coats the
rim of the glasses to perfection giving this drink a smooth flavor coming through the cocoa powder and caramel. The
original recipe calls for Dove Chocolate Martini Mix. But when Terry & I shopped for the ingredients,
all we could find was Martini Gold chocolate martini mixer, which worked just fine. Terry really likes using
the Praline Pecan liqueur, but it does make this Turtle martini really sweet. Enjoy!
